we’re on our way UP!

Ok – update on my teeth. My big honkin’ 2-hour appointment yesterday went ok. I guess one of the fillings they did was a little deeper than they expected and if it doesn’t heal up well, there’s a chance of having to have a root canal on it. But I am saying my prayers that it behaves and that won’t happen. We can’t really afford all this stupid dental work! Root canals are EXPENSIVE! My temporary crown is on, and my gums around it are very tender. I realized this as I brushed it this morning! OUCH! But all in all I’ve had little to no aches and pains. I’ve been lucky I guess. Plus, being on the gas yesterday was FUN! hahaha I go back in 2 weeks for my permanent crown and 4 other fillings! 🙁

Tonight Josh and I are going with my whole family to see “Up”. I’ve heard awesome things about it, so I’m VERY excited. I hope I can eat popcorn with my stupid tooth! I love movie popcorn!!! I’ll be sure to write a review about it afterwards.

Here are some LOs that I did last week.

This is my sweet new baby niece Ava. Josh’s sister’s FIRST little girl. She has three boys, and finally she got a girl! I got to do a little photo shoot with her last Friday, so I’ll have to post some of those photos later this week.

Here are some more pictures of Addison (my cousin’s daughter) from the day after she was born. I always want to say my ‘niece Addison’ because she feels like my niece.

Apparently I am obsessed with scrapping other people’s children! HAHA Here is my cute cute cute nephew Noah at a family party we had last week!

Next, a page using Erica Zane’s awesome new “Leafy Treetop” kit. She always comes up with the most original kits!!

A fun page from Disneyland!!

And last but not least, a “fat book” page I did for a challenge at ScrapOrchard. Don’t know what a “fat book” is? Well, neither did I until I read about it for this challenge! It’s a LOT of a fun and a great artistic outlet. Give it a try!!

Ok – I gotta go. I’m on my way to the theater and buy our movie tickets for tonight! See ya!!!

  1. Sounds like you need some little Britts running around so you can scrap them too. He-He. So sad about your teeth. Can’t wait to read your review of Up.

  2. UP is a fantastic movie! Our family enjoyed it so much. The beginning story line is a bit much for young kids to understand (my older daughter is 7 and even she had a few questions) but it is very touching. Enjoy!

  3. omg i cried hysterically at up, at least in the beginning, ( middle and end) I can see how it wouldnt bee too fun for the little ones at first ( like wall-e in a way) but it is really a fantastic movie.I saw it in three d and Id highly recommend it!

  4. I hope you enjoy your movie! I think the preview for the new Disney Princess movie (The Princess and the Frog…I think that’s the title) is supposed to be shown before Up! =) I’ve been told it will be an African American Princess….hope a Britt kit will emerge when it comes out later this year! =) Gorgeous Layouts and I hope everything heals quickly for you…the dentist is NOT my favorite place to be!

  5. UP is so wonderful! I hope you enjoyed it. Also, hope your mouth is feeling better! Dental work is no fun.

  6. hope your whole teeth episode ends soon, I really really dislike going to the dentist also, so I understand your pain. Never had a root canal though.
I am loving the title font on your blog, can you give me the name?
Hope you enjoyed the movie, I know Jen and fam are seeing the movie the night before they leave for DW, a little pre-trip excitement.

  7. I LOVED "Up". We took the kids to see it at the drive in, and my daughter didn't get the whole first part, but after that she was on board. She's almost 5.
I'd love to see a movie inspired kit! 😉 I think it will as well.

  8. Great layouts!! Of course you can call her your niece. Make sense too me! My cousin's (who I'm close too) boys call me Auntie. So much easier than explaining!! HAAHA!! LOVE all of your gorgeous layouts. You've been busy!
