So – Josh and I braved the opening weekend crowds and went to see STAR TREK last night! \u00a0I was never a Star Trek fan in the past, but ever since I saw the previews I have been so excited to see this movie.<\/p>\n

And yes, I give it 5<\/span> stars. It did NOT disappoint. We both left thoroughly entertained and satisfied. I totally want to see it again! AMAZING special effects, awesome characters, great script, awesome plot that keeps you guessing. The acting, the costumes, it was all just totally awesome! I’m a big fan of the director, JJ Abrams (Felicity, Alias, you can’t go wrong with JJ). Those who think they won’t enjoy a sci-fi movie, I encourage you to go and give it a try. It is really entertaining and fun! I have a hard time imagining anyone not enjoying it.<\/p>\n

AND you really don’t have to know anything about Star Trek to enjoy it. \u00a0I know hardly anything about Star Trek! \u00a0But I do know I left the theater with a serious Spock crush (I know – weird huh?!).<\/p>\n

Alrighty, enough about Star Trek, let me show you what I scrapped yesterday.<\/p>\n

Old photos from Halloween ’06. But when Tangie Baxter released her new “In A Galaxy Far, Far Away”<\/a> kit, I had to get these photos out and scrap ’em!! (This is Josh’s sister and her cute family, back when she only had two kiddos and one on the way! Now she has 4!)<\/p>\n

And these are even OLDER photos of just a sunny happy summer day back in ’06. We were at my nephew Matthew’s baseball game and Isaac and I were just chillin’. I can’t believe how big he’s gotten since then!<\/p>\n

Well, that’s it for me today. We had a great day at church. The nursery kids were especially cute and fun today. We had almost no tears all day, which is UNHEARD OF! Now we are off to my mom’s house for a Mother’s Day lunch and visit. My brother is calling from his mission in Chile and we are soooo excited to talk to him!! Then after that its over to Josh’s brother’s house for a Mother’s Day shin-dig with his whole side of the family! I have awesome gifts for everyone, so I’m very excited. I love to have good gifts to give!!! It’s the best feeling. I’ll post here after they’ve been given so you guys can see too!<\/p>\n
